Dancing with the USU Stars

February 17, 2010 was the Dancing with the USU Stars performance. 10 USU ballroom team members competed with 10 USU stars for the top 3 spots. Each couple was given a different International dance to learn, practice and compete in about 5 weeks. Here are some of the photos from the event, taken by my husband. (So talented)

Mandy is now 22 years old!

Well, yesterday was my birthday. I had to get up nice and early to open work that morning, but Matt made sure that I had a happy birthday morning. He had a cute little wrapped present waiting for me to open on the kitchen table before I left. I opened it and it was a beautiful bead necklace. After the fun birthday stuff, I had to go to work and school. On campus from 7am until 7pm... After dance, Matt and I went home and relaxed, ordered pizza, played some games and watched the Simpson's. We also were able to blow out birthday candles together and enjoy a yummy chocolate cake.

Matt turned 25 years old!!!

Yesterday was Matt's birthday! Luckily he didn't have work, so he was able to sleep in as late as he wanted (or until Milo licked his face enough). When he woke up he had a little birthday surprise in the kitchen. He opened his presents and got a sneak peek at his birthday cake. Most of the day was spent laughing at the TV while watching the Office. Then, we went to San Fransisco Sourdough pizza and had some really yummy breadsticks, pizza and dessert with our friends Richard, Wendy, Eli and Claire. Next we walked over to our favorite ice cream place, Casper's Malt Shoppe. We were so full, but were able to squeeze in a sundae. After we stuffed ourselves, we headed back home for some New Super Mario Bros. Wii with our buddies. It was a pretty fun day!

First Day of School... Again

Well, today is the first day of school. I woke up early and went to work to open the lab and waited for about 45 minutes until the first person walked into the door... it was my own husband. It wasn't until about 8:30 that people started to show up. Matt has one class today, but I have 4 classes. It's going to be a long, syllabus-filled day, but hopefully no homework added. Let's see if I survive until tomorrow!

New Year, New Look

Yes yes yes... I finally got a hair cut. It was needed for a long long time and it has finally come through. It's different and takes some time to get use to, but I love it! Thanks Mom!
